Our company's focus is in the development and marketing of a unique online marketing strategy called OMS/RS™, or Online Marketing Strategies for Retail Stores and Services.
Today, MELCOOPER Consulting now uses OMS/RS™ to help small- to medium-size, independent retailers create higher customer loyalty, encourage more in-store traffic, and generate higher average dollar sales per transaction.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Initially, MELCOOPER Consulting operated as an IT integration company with a focus on providing services to state government agencies.
In 2000, the company began a shift to designing and building websites for small- to medium-size businesses and profes-sional associations.
Recognizing that a business website is only a part of an overall online marketing strategy, the company invested resources to sharpen the focus of its website consulting and production business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The company specializes in serving and supporting independent retail stores to help them develop effective and efficient online marketing strategies. Such strategies are designed to help independent retailers compete more profitably against brand-name franchise and big-box retail operations.

We have one office in Montgomery, AL.
